Learn the fundamentals of lamp wiring while you build a unique vintage inspired lamp that is guaranteed to draw compliments!
Working with a wooden cigar box frame and supplies such as sockets, cords, plugs, and switches, we’ll work step by step to assemble a working lamp from scratch. We’ll cover concepts such as polarity and you’ll learn to identify the basic components of table lamps, which are essentially unchanged since the birth of the electric era. All necessary materials, equipment, and instruction will be provided, including a reproduction Edison bulb to light your very own handcrafted lamp.
Leave with the confidence and skills needed to re-wire almost any cool lamp or vintage fan you find!
Unless otherwise noted, workshops are for those 16 years of age or over.
