Based on current recommendations regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we have decided to temporarily close our studio and cancel scheduled workshops through the end of April. We’ll be continually assessing the situation and plan to reopen for in-person workshops when it’s safe to do so.
If you’re signed up for one of these cancelled workshops, you’ll be contacted soon via email about options related to your registration.
If you're unable to attend a workshop scheduled further out and it is at least 72 hours prior to the workshop, please contact us with the request and we will refund 100% of your payment, transfer you to another available session, or in the case of Class Packs or Gift Certificates we can provide credit toward a future workshop.
If we need to cancel a future class due to low enrollment, staffing issues, or other related concerns, we’ll be in contact with those who’ve registered about options for a refund or credit.
Most of our workshops are between 2 and 3 hours and all of the materials, equipment and instruction will be provided.
Unless otherwise noted, all workshops are for those 16 years of age or over. We also periodically offer events for ages 10 and over.
Each person in attendance needs to be registered, we are currently not able to accommodate unpaid guests for the class.
You should arrive to workshops at least 10 minutes early to get checked in.
In keeping with the social atmosphere of our events, we have a variety of beverages available for purchase to enjoy during class such as coffee, tea, sparkling waters, beer, wine, and cider. Bringing in outside alcohol to drink during class is prohibited.
Some of our projects can get messy or stain clothing. It is a good idea to always wear something you can live with getting damaged. Check the class’s details page for specific advice on what to wear.
Gift Certificates & Class Packs
Gift certificates and Class Packs purchased through the website are delivered via email.
The certificate or Class Pack voucher may be used toward all Assembly workshops, classes, and events, unless otherwise noted. Gift certificates may also be used for retail purchases online or in the studio.
Gift certificates and Class Packs do not expire and all sales are final.
Retail Product Returns or Exchanges
Unused retail items in their original packaging, including books, kits, and supplies, may be returned for a refund or exchange within 15 days of in-store purchase or confirmed delivery. Customer responsible for costs of return. Please email first with the request.
Communication & Photography
If you opt in to receive marketing communications from us you consent to the processing of your data to send you such communications, which may include newsletters, blog posts, surveys, and information about new events. We retain a record of your consent. You can choose to no longer receive marketing communications by contacting us at email@example.com or clicking unsubscribe from a marketing email.
Assembly staff may take photographs or videos of workshop participants, individually or in groups. These photographs or videos may appear in future publications, such as our social media, website, newsletter or other publicity. Attendees consent to having their photograph taken or such videos shown and used for such purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please notify us to that effect.
By registering for any workshop, class, or event, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Assembly Create LLC, its managers, members, employees, contractors, volunteers, and any other people officially connected with the event from and against any and all claims for personal injuries or damages of any kind arising from your participation.
