Workshop Developer & Instructor

The Workshop Developer & Instructor collaborates directly with the owner and other studio staff to research, develop, test, and lead Assembly craft workshops and events for public and private groups.

This is a part-time on-staff position averaging about 4-8 hours per week. We will contact selected applicants to begin interviews in late June.

Teaching Artist

A Teaching Artist is a friendly and outgoing local maker that is looking to supplement their income by integrating their unique skills, perspectives, and expertise into an engaging hands-on learning experience for adult (ages 16+) audiences. 

We’re currently looking to offer new workshops in the following areas:

  • Leatherworking
  • Stained glass
  • Fabric dyeing
  • Jewelry making
  • Drawing
  • Marbling
  • Mosaics
  • Printmaking
  • Food/drink related:  pickling, cheese-making, cookie decorating, DIY kombucha, cider

Feel free to propose workshops not listed here as trends and our needs are always changing!

This is a contract position, likely teaching a workshop monthly.
