This is the perfectly prepared at-home kit for anyone curious about ice dyeing!
This project is an easy set up and uses the power of melting ice and powder dye to create beautiful watercolor-like results on fabric.
While this kit includes enough dye for about two yards of fabric or three large t-shirts or even more small items, you don't have to do it all at once! You can dye a single item at a time and save the rest for another time.
The kit includes:
- dye powder in a convenient shaker
- soda ash activator
- rubber bands
- instructions for ice dyeing
- instructions for washout
- Item to dye:
- (1) 27"x27" white hemmed cotton tea towel
You’ll also need:
-a container to dye in or a rack to dye on
–other items to dye: fabric or clothing that is 100% made from plant fibers like cotton, rayon, linen, hemp, viscose, modal. These dyes will NOT work on polyester, nylon, or anything synthetic.
