Twirl into spring with the art of paper quilling!
In this beginner workshop you’ll learn the detailed art of paper quilling: rolling, gluing and folding strips of paper to create a three dimensional design using basic shapes such as circles, teardrops, triangles, and more.
In this session we’ll be decorating wooden picture frames with quilled floral designs.
After class you’ll be able to apply your new found paper crafting skills to decorate just about anything, such as cards, gift tags, wall decor, and more! All necessary materials and equipment will be provided and the quilling tool is yours to take home!
Unless otherwise noted, workshops are for those 16 years of age or over.

Callie McAuliffe is a native Portlander who found her love of arts and crafts at an early age. After briefly experimenting with many mediums such as acrylic painting, block printing, and watercolors, she finally found her favorite creative outlets. Artist and creator behind Designs Da Lúa, she specializes in paper quilling, pyrography, and string art. Callie loves bright colors and drawing inspiration from the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She has been teaching classes since 2018, and when not teaching arts and crafts, she is teaching students life skills as a school counselor. Craft nights and crafternoons are some of Callie’s favorite things, especially when they bring makers together!
