Mounted Plant Class

Regular price $55.00
Take your planting skills to the next level-- it’s time to hang it on the wall!
Join us to create your very own mounted plant display featuring the mighty Staghorn Fern! These amazing plants are epiphytes, which means in their natural environment they grow on plants or trees… just like air plants! So when keeping them as houseplants it’s best to mount them on wood so they can grow just like they would in the wild.
In this hands-on workshop we’ll start by discussing the craft of plant mounting, fun facts about these unique ferns, and then an overview of the necessary equipment and supplies. Next we’ll prepare and stain our wood and use natural green moss to properly secure the plant to it’s new living space. We’ll wrap up by sharing our tips and tricks for care to keep them thriving and talk about other types of epiphyte plants you could mount in the future.
All supplies, equipment, and a plant is provided for you to build the perfect green decor.
Note: If a date is sold out, join the waitlist to be contacted when a spot opens up.
